Valencia Shores is located in Lake Worth on the Boynton Beach border.  It is located off of Lyons Road, which is lush and simply beautiful.  Like another world.

Valencia Shores is like a mini city.  There are 1143 homes.  It is one the the largest 55+ active adult communities in Palm Beach County.  You can enter the development and not leave for a few weeks.  There is never a dull moment.

There are two clubhouses: the Athletic Club and The Social Club.

The Social Club is the huge clubhouse with amenities and activities, resort-style swimming pools, tennis, basketball, and racquetball courts.  There is a full-time activities director to guide residents to coordinate activities and events.  There is a hair salon.

The Athletic Club has a state-of-the-art fitness center, resort style swimming pools, several tennis courts.  The area has a subtropical vibe.

When you crave delicious Italian food, Mama Mia Trattoria is close and is cozy and quaint.  They give generous portions, so you can take some home and enjoy the next day.   If you want tasty Chinese food, there is a Chinese restaurant near Mama Mias.

Valencia Shores clubhouse is huge.  It is active with people that look happy.  No Debbie Downer faces.

The photos on the Valencia Shores website do not appear to be updated.  My photos taken with my cell phone are nicer and show the updates.

There is a separate building with the fitness center.  In this area, there is also a resort style pool and many tennis courts.  The landscaping is beautiful and has a subtropical vibe.  As you walk down the sidewalk, you hear birds singing.
